Job Summary:

A warm and welcoming family based in Athens is seeking an experienced, caring and proactive live-in nanny to care for their one-year-old twins. This is a long-term position for someone who enjoys working with young children and can provide a nurturing, educational environment while helping to establish and maintain excellent routines.
The role involves taking over childcare from mid-afternoon through bedtime, planning engaging age-appropriate activities, preparing the children's meals, assisting with bath and bedtime, and remaining available overnight should either child wake. In addition to childcare, the family is looking for someone happy to assist with light housekeeping duties, including keeping the children's areas organised, children's laundry, meal preparation and general household tidying. The nanny will also be expected to travel with the family on occasion and provide flexibility for evening babysitting and occasional weekend support.
Candidate Specification:
• Proven experience as a professional nanny caring for babies and toddlers.
• Previous experience caring for twins is highly desirable.
• A strong understanding of early years development and a passion for providing educational, age-appropriate activities.
• Confident in establishing and maintaining healthy routines, including sleep routines.
• Happy to undertake light housekeeping duties alongside childcare, including children's laundry, tidying, organisation and meal preparation.
• Paediatric First Aid qualification (essential).
• Warm, nurturing, proactive and organised with excellent communication skills.
• Flexible to provide occasional evening and weekend support, and willing to travel with the family when required.
• Must hold an EU passport or have the legal right to work in Greece.
• Looking for a long-term position and able to build a positive, trusting relationship with the family.
