Rotananny
The family have recently welcomed their second baby and also have a three-year-old child who attends nursery a couple of days per week. With both parents working and a busy family lifestyle, they are looking for an exceptional nanny who can provide calm, consistent and proactive support alongside another rota nanny and existing maternity support.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a career nanny who has worked within private households, ideally with high-profile or staffed families where discretion, professionalism and flexibility are essential. The successful candidate will be warm, emotionally intelligent, confident and able to offer a high standard of care while fitting naturally into family life.
Mum is very hands-on and currently does many of the night feeds herself, but the nanny should be confident supporting where required, including overnight support when needed. The role will involve working collaboratively with parents, the other rota nanny and maternity support to ensure both children are beautifully cared for.

The ideal nanny will have strong experience caring for children at different ages and stages, from newborn care through to preschool age. You will understand the changing needs of a young baby while also providing stimulating, nurturing and age-appropriate care for a bright and active three-year-old.

Duties will include all usual nursery duties and full care relating to the children, including supporting routines, preparing healthy meals and snacks, organising age-appropriate activities, nursery runs, children’s laundry, wardrobe organisation, maintaining play areas and ensuring the children’s days run smoothly.

As the baby grows, the nanny should be confident supporting milestones, weaning, nutrition, sleep, routines, play and early learning. The role will also involve planning fun and engaging activities such as outdoor play, classes, creative activities, reading, sensory play, music and trips to the park.

As this is a rota role, the nanny must be highly organised and able to provide clear handovers to the other rota nanny. Communication will be key to maintaining consistency with routines, activities, nutrition and general care. The family are looking for someone proactive, efficient and able to think ahead.
The family travel within the UK and internationally, so previous experience travelling with families is essential. The nanny must be confident packing for children, supporting travel routines, adapting to different environments and remaining flexible to a busy family schedule.
Key duties will include:
Providing high-quality care for a newborn baby and three-year-old child.
Supporting mum with the baby where required.
Creating a calm, nurturing and stimulating environment.
Planning age-appropriate activities.

Supporting the three-year-old’s development, confidence and independence.

Nursery runs and organisation around the nursery schedule.

Children’s laundry, wardrobe organisation and keeping children’s spaces organised.

Preparing healthy meals and snacks.
Supporting weaning, feeding, routines, naps, sleep, play and milestones.
Travelling with the family in the UK and internationally.
Working professionally with another rota nanny and maternity support.
Providing clear handovers and excellent communication.
Maintaining complete discretion and confidentiality.
