An American–Singaporean family based in Chelsea is seeking a calm, experienced, and highly professional Night Nurse/Maternity Nurse to provide overnight care for their 2-month-old baby.

This is a night role focused on supporting the baby’s wellbeing, establishing healthy sleep habits, and assisting the parents with feeding and routine development during the newborn stage.
Key Responsibilities

Provide attentive overnight care for a 2-month-old baby

Respond promptly to all night-time waking and care needs

Soothe and settle the baby using age-appropriate techniques

Ensure safe sleep practices are followed at all times

Monitor baby’s temperature, breathing, comfort, and overall wellbeing throughout the night

Identify and promptly report any signs of illness or concern

Sleep Support

Encourage and support healthy, age-appropriate sleep routines

Maintain a calm, quiet overnight environment

Record sleep patterns, wake times, and settling difficulties

Hygiene & Feeding Preparation

Sterilise bottles and feeding equipment if required

Prepare bottles for the following day

Keep nursery and feeding areas clean and organised

Record Keeping & Communication

Maintain a detailed overnight log

Provide a concise handover to parents each morning

Professional Requirements

Respect and follow the family’s established routines and preferences

Adhere to safe sleep guidelines and infection control practices

Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Ensure baby’s safety is the highest priority throughout the shift

Work discreetly and calmly to minimise household disruption overnight
