Visa: Nanny with a EU passport with the right to work in the EU/Switzerland. Extensive experience caring for twins is essential. Native English preferred; Spanish, Portuguese, or French is an advantage.
For our twins (boy/girl), born in October 2025, we are seeking a full-time, live-in nanny to join our family on a long-term basis.
Based in our beautiful lakeside home in Lucerne, you will work in a calm, well-organised environment where professionalism, and exceptional childcare are genuinely valued. Location: Lucerne, Switzerland
Schedule: 5-6 days a week, 7:00 am–7:00 pm
Key Responsibilities
* Full responsibility for the children’s care, safety, and wellbeing
* Establish and maintain feeding, sleep, and daily routines
* Prepare bottles/meals, maintain strict hygiene, and sterilise equipment
* Support developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities
* Keep detailed daily records of feeding, sleep, behaviour, and development
* Maintain the nursery and children’s areas to the highest standard
* Manage the children’s wardrobe, laundry, ironing, and seasonal clothing
* Monitor and replenish nursery supplies
* Prepare for outings and travel
* Bathe, dress, and care for the children’s daily hygiene
* Administer medication/supplements as directed
* Monitor and report health or developmental changes
* Support sleep training, weaning, and routine transitions
* Maintain complete confidentiality and respect household protocols
* Travel with the family, including extended international trips
* Adapt routines across time zones and provide proxy parenting when required
About You
We are looking for an exceptional nanny who is warm, nurturing, experienced, and passionate. You will have extensive twin experience, a strong understanding of early childhood development, and the ability to create a calm, stimulating, and structured environment.
You are proactive, organised, detail-oriented, discreet, and take pride in maintaining the highest standards. Emotional intelligence, reliability, loyalty, and excellent communication are essential, as is the ability to work closely with the parents while taking ownership of your role.
A positive, calm personality, flexibility, and a genuine love of helping children thrive are key. We are seeking someone committed to a long-term position who enjoys travelling and adapting to different environments.

Travel
The family typically spends winter in warmer destinations and summer in Switzerland, travelling primarily within Europe, including Spain and Italy.
