Part Time Live-Out Nanny Role – Harborough, Leicestershire. LE16.

A warm and supportive family near Market Harborough are seeking a Part-time live-out Nanny to start in December. The role will be 3 days (T,W,T) comprising of 33 hours (2 days 7-7 and 1 day 8-5) each week. The role will be sole charge of the family’s 1 year old, who will be starting 2 days a week in a Montessori Nursery in January 2027.
The family are relocating to the countryside to be closer to grandparents; The area offers plenty of outdoor space and scenic walks, so a nanny who enjoys spending time outside is preferred. The Nanny will be able to plan engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for the child as well as having the opportunity to join local classes. The family have a dog, so a pet-friendly candidate is essential, with occasional help with as walking or feeding appreciated. Due to the rural location, a driver with their own car is required, however, the family will provide a car for work-related use.
Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience. A valid DBS check and Paediatric First Aid certificate are essential. The ideal candidate will be confident in caring for a 1-year-old, provide good communication with parents, and able to support with the parents’ return to work. The family anticipate that with the grandparents nearby, they will provide additional cover where needed, but willingness and flexibility to help with overtime if needed would be useful.
