Job Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maternity Nanny to support a lovely first-time family with their new born twin girls, who are currently 6 weeks old.

The family are looking for a warm, calm and highly knowledgeable professional who can provide reassurance, guidance and hands-on support during the early months. They would particularly value someone with extensive experience caring for new born twins, who is confident managing both babies independently and able to support with feeding, routines, sleep and day-to-day care.

Initially, the role will involve shared care, as both parents are at home, however the family would like someone who is confident taking sole charge of the twins as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to gently guide the parents, help build their confidence, and offer practical, evidence-based advice while supporting the family as they settle into life with twins.

Mum is still deciding what family life will look like longer term, so flexibility will be important. This temporary position would suit a professional Maternity Nanny who is adaptable, organised and genuinely enjoys supporting families with multiples during the new-born stage. Occasional overnight and weekend support may also be appreciated by prior arrangement.

Job Specification

• Supporting feeding, routines and healthy sleep habits
• Assisting with the day-to-day care of new born twins
• Guiding first-time parents with practical, gentle and evidence-based advice
• Helping the parents build confidence with twin care
• Working collaboratively with both parents during the early months
• Taking sole charge of the twins when required
• Supporting with nursery duties related to the babies
• Occasional overnight and weekend support by agreement

Candidate Specification

• Significant hands-on experience caring for newborn twins is essential
• Previous experience as a Maternity Nanny or Maternity Nurse would be highly desirable
• Confident managing two newborn babies independently
• Calm, reassuring and confident supporting first-time parents
• Strong knowledge of newborn care, feeding, routines and sleep foundations
• Flexible and adaptable as the family’s needs evolve
