Experienced French or English Maternity Nurse
Temporary Position with a VIP Family in Belgium

MAGIC NANNIES | EXCELLENCE is currently assisting a lovely French-speaking family based in Belgium in their search for an experienced and highly qualified Live-in Maternity Nurse for a one-month assignment commencing in early July 2026. The family is expecting twins at the end of June and is seeking the support of a professional Maternity Nurse during the first weeks following the babies' arrival. They also have an 18-month-old toddler. The parents are looking for an experienced, reassuring and hands-on professional who can provide invaluable support and help ensure a smooth transition as the family adapts to life with three young children. The successful candidate will work during the daytime only, seven days per week, including weekends. No night duties will be required. This position would suit a compassionate, organised and highly experienced professional who is confident supporting both newborns and parents during the postpartum period.

Responsibilities
• Supporting the mother during the first weeks following childbirth.
• Providing all aspects of newborn care, including bathing, changing, dressing and general hygiene.
• Preparing and managing bottles and monitoring feeding routines.
• Establishing and maintaining appropriate sleep and daily routines for both babies.
• Monitoring the babies' comfort, wellbeing and development, including nursery organisation, baby laundry and childcare
equipment.
• Providing occasional support with the family's 18-month-old child.
• Maintaining clear and regular communication with the parents regarding the children's wellbeing.

The Ideal Candidate
The family wishes to meet candidates with proven experience as a Maternity Nurse, ideally gained within private households and preferably with previous experience caring for twins or multiple births. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent newborn care knowledge, a strong understanding of postnatal support and a genuine ability to guide and reassure parents with warmth, professionalism anddiscretion. Key qualities include discretion, organisation, patience, reliability, flexibility, professionalism and a strong
service-oriented mindset.

Practical Information
• Start date: Early July 2026.
• Duration: Approximately one month.
• Location: Kaim, Belgique
• Schedule: Daytime hours only, seven days per week, including weekends.
• No night duties required.
• Salary: 5000€ to 5500€ net for the assignment (excluding nights), depending on experience and references.
