Salary: £65,000–£85,000 gross per annum, depending on experience
Role Overview
A professional UHNW family who live between London & Milan is seeking an experienced, dynamic and highly capable rota nanny to care for their delightful 3 year old child. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident career nanny who has previous experience working within staffed private households and travelling extensively with families.
The little boy is bright, sociable, affectionate and full of laughter. He enjoys being around people and responds well to engaging, creative and educationally focused activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting his day-to-day care, wellbeing and development, while creating a happy, stimulating and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide attentive, loving and developmentally appropriate care for one child aged 3 years.
• Plan and arrange age-appropriate outings, play, activities and experiences with an educational focus.
• Support the child’s daily routine, wellbeing, manners, social development and overall happiness.
• Prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for the child.
• Work confidently in a sole charge capacity, with the mother in and out of the home.
• Undertake proxy parenting responsibilities when required, as the parents travel regularly for business.
• Travel internationally with the family during school holidays, alternating travel duties with the other rota nanny.
• Collaborate professionally with household staff, including housekeepers and the wider private household team.
Household and Accommodation
The family employ housekeepers who are responsible for laundry duties, allowing the nanny to focus on the child’s care, routine and development. The nanny will initially be required to share a room with the child. The family plan to move in the future, at which point the nanny will have their own bedroom.
Candidate Requirements
• Previous experience working as a rota nanny within a UHNW or fully staffed household.
• Strong experience travelling internationally with private families.
• Confident in sole charge and proxy parenting situations.
• Warm, positive, happy and naturally engaging personality.
• Creative, proactive and able to think outside the box when planning activities.
• Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting early years development.
• Professional, discreet, flexible and comfortable working as part of a wider household team.
• Excellent communication skills and a calm, capable approach.
