Experienced and Professional Full-Time Nanny – Highbury & Islington, London

A warm, professional family based in Islington are seeking an experienced and dedicated nanny to provide exceptional care for their two young children aged 4 and 1 year. The family are looking for a proactive, nurturing and engaging childcare professional who enjoys supporting children's development within a busy family environment. They would like a formally trained Nanny with an early years degree.

The Role
The successful candidate will take responsibility for all childcare-related duties and play an important role in supporting the children's learning, development and wellbeing. This is a long-term position for a nanny who is passionate about early years care and creating enriching experiences for children.

Key Responsibilities
Providing attentive and nurturing care for two young children.
Planning stimulating, age-appropriate activities both at home and in the local community.
Supporting children's physical, emotional, social and educational development.
Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
Managing children's routines and schedules.
Maintaining children's bedrooms, play areas and wardrobes.
Children's laundry and organisation of nursery-related items.
Building a positive and collaborative relationship with parents.

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
Have significant professional nanny experience.
Hold a recognised childcare qualification-preferable and Early years degree or equivalent
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of child development from infancy through the early years.
Be organised, proactive and highly reliable and punctual.
Have experience caring for multiple young children.
Be confident working independently and taking initiative.
Possess excellent communication skills.
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate and relevant first aid qualification.
Be eligible to work in the UK.

Additional Information
The family would welcome a nanny who is open to occasional travel during school holidays and family trips. Flexibility and adaptability are highly valued.
A driver would be advantageous but is not essential.

Position Details
Location: Islington, London
Accommodation: Live-out
Salary: £70,000–£75,000 gross per annum, depending on experience
Start Date: To be agreed but around August 2026.
