A warm and welcoming international family based in Riyadh is seeking an experienced, engaging, and highly organised Governess to support the care, education, and overall development of their 4-year-old son. This is a fully staffed household, and the successful candidate will work closely alongside the family's established team, contributing to a positive, collaborative, and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver structured, age-appropriate learning experiences.
Support early years development across language, social, emotional, and cognitive domains.
Encourage creativity, curiosity, and confidence through play-based learning and stimulating activities.
Establish and maintain positive routines, boundaries, and behaviour.
Promote excellent manners, etiquette, and age-appropriate independence.
Organise the child's educational resources, schedule, and daily routines.
Accompany the family on international trips and assist with travel-related organisation.
Liaise closely with parents and household staff to ensure consistency and continuity of care.
Work collaboratively with other members of staff within a fully staffed home.
Serve as a positive role model while maintaining a calm, polished, and professional presence.
Candidate Profile
Native English speaker (essential).
Holder of a British, Canadian, American, Australian, New Zealand, or Irish passport.
Previous experience as a Governess or in a similar educational childcare role.
Strong educational background, ideally with early years expertise.
Solid understanding of child development and early years education.
Creative, proactive, and engaging approach.
Flexible, calm, and emotionally intelligent.
Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Cultural and Professional Expectations
High level of discretion and confidentiality at all times.
Respectful, polished, and professional in presentation and conduct.
Strong awareness of cultural sensitivities within Saudi Arabia.
Ability to work harmoniously within a fully staffed household.
