A family based in West Ealing, W13 is looking for an experienced French-speaking nanny to care for their two young children, aged 2 years old and 6 months old.

The family are Francophile and would like a French-speaking nanny. The nanny must also be fluent in English and able to communicate clearly with the parents in English.

Children

Two children:
A 2-year-old
A 6-month-old baby

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
8:30am to 6:30pm

Total: 50 hours per week

Salary

£19–£22 gross per hour
Approximately £950–£1,100 gross per week

Role Overview

The nanny will be responsible for the daily care of both children, supporting their routine, development, meals, naps, activities and general well-being.

The baby is currently formula-fed and will soon start weaning. The older child is potty training. The family is looking for a nanny who enjoys playing with children, organising activities indoors and outdoors, and supporting a calm and structured daily routine.

Main Responsibilities

Nanny Duties

Sole charge care of both children
Following and maintaining the children’s daily routine
Preparing and giving formula bottles
Supporting the baby with weaning
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Supporting potty training for the older child
Organising age-appropriate indoor activities
Planning outdoor activities and outings
Taking the children to activities, classes and parks
Encouraging play, learning and development
Supporting naps and rest times
Keeping the children safe and engaged throughout the day
Communicating clearly with the parents about the children’s day

Child-related Housekeeping

Keeping the children’s areas tidy
Cleaning bottles and feeding items
Tidying toys and play areas
Keeping the nursery/children’s bedrooms organised
Laundry for the children
No deep cleaning

Requirements

French-speaking nanny
Fluent English required
Minimum 3 years of nanny experience
Confident with babies and toddlers
Experience with weaning
Experience with potty training
Enhanced DBS check required
Paediatric First Aid certificate required
Warm, playful and proactive
Confident organising activities indoors and outdoors
Reliable, punctual and professional
