Maternity Nurse
A maternity nurse role supporting a second-time family, providing newborn care, breastfeeding support, routine guidance, and inclusive support for an older sibling within a private household environment.
Job Summery
This is a structured maternity nurse role suited to an experienced professional who combines strong newborn knowledge with a warm, family-focused approach. The position requires a candidate who is confident guiding parents through feeding and routine establishment while working collaboratively and respectfully within the family home. This private family are seeking a maternity nurse to support them following the arrival of their new baby. Whilst the parents have previous experience of newborn care, they would value a knowledgeable professional who can provide gentle guidance around feeding, sleep, and routine during the early months. The family are looking for a calm, approachable candidate who can help create structure without becoming overly rigid. The mother describes herself as naturally relaxed and would appreciate a maternity nurse who can provide friendly guidance and help maintain consistency where appropriate.
An older sibling is also part of the household. Whilst no direct childcare responsibilities are anticipated due to existing childcare arrangements, the family would value a maternity nurse who understands the importance of helping older children feel included and involved during the transition to life with a new baby.
