Live-in Mother’s Helper / Housekeeper (Maternity Experience a Plus) – France

We are seeking a warm, capable, and proactive Mother’s Helper / Housekeeper to join a private family in France.

This is a live-in position with a private bedroom provided. The primary focus is supporting the mother and assisting with the smooth running of the household rather than sole-charge childcare. Experience with newborns or maternity support is highly valued, although the role is not primarily a nanny position.

Position Details

* Start Date: September 2026
* Live-in position
* Private bedroom provided (no room sharing with a child)
* Initial contract: 6–8 weeks
* Possibility of extension or transition into a long-term/full-time role if both parties are happy
* Salary: €250–€450 per week, depending on experience and suitability

Responsibilities

* General housekeeping and household organisation
* Family cooking and meal preparation
* Assisting the mother with day-to-day household tasks
* Occasional support with a baby/newborn when required


Candidate Requirements

* European passport holder/ EU
* Previous housekeeping, mother’s helper, family assistant, or maternity-related experience preferred
* Fluent English or German speaker
* Comfortable working within a private household
