Live-in Native English-Speaking Nanny – Paris
Starting September 2026 Long-Term Position

We are a young and dynamic family relocating to central Paris in September 2026 and are looking for an exceptional live-in nanny to become an important part of our family.

We have 2 wonderful daughters:
Eldest (3) – Fun and energetic and fully bilingual (En/Fr). She will begin school in September 2026.
Youngest (1) – sweet and curious, currently exploring the world around her.
We place great importance on kindness, respect, independence and creating a calm, loving environment for our children.

The Position
We are looking for a caring, creative and experienced nanny who sees childcare as a vocation rather than simply a job.
You will play a key role in supporting our daughters’ emotional, social and intellectual development through attentive care, enriching experiences and Montessori-inspired learning.

This is a long-term position for someone who would enjoy becoming part of our family’s journey and contributing meaningfully to our children’s early years.
You will mainly look after our youngest as the eldest will attend school from September 2026.
We travel frequently as a family and you will accompany us on many of these destinations.

Contract Details
Start date: September 2026
Location: Central Paris
Duration: 12 months minimum (long-term preferred)
Live-in position with private bedroom
Accommodation and meals fully provided
Salary based on experience and qualifications : 2000 to 2600 € net per month
25 days of paid holiday per year, including public holidays.
Up to 55 hours per week over six day, including up to three evenings babysitting per week

Key Responsibilities

Provide loving, attentive and developmentally appropriate care for both children.
Plan and lead engaging Montessori-inspired activities and learning experiences.
Encourage curiosity, creativity, independence and confidence.
Support a calm, structured and positive daily routine.
Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
Help maintain a harmonious home environment.
Travel with the family when required.
Be a reliable, proactive and trusted support on a day-to-day basis.

Essential Requirements
Native English speaker.
Right to work in Europe required.
Previous experience caring for both toddlers and young children.
Strong interest in Montessori principles and child-led learning.
Excellent understanding of early childhood development.
Confident in preparing healthy, nutritious meals.
Highly organised and able to plan enriching activities independently.
Warm, energetic, patient and creative
Flexible and adaptable, particularly when travelling.
Able to take initiative and work autonomously.
Reliable, responsible and trustworthy.
Discreet and respectful of family privacy.

Highly Valued
Montessori training or certification.
Early childhood education qualifications.
Experience travelling with families.
Additional language skills.

At times, parents may travel without the children, in which case you may be entrusted with sole responsibility for the girls for several consecutive days.
There will also be periods when the parents are spending dedicated time with the children. During these moments, we value someone who is comfortable stepping back while remaining available and supportive when needed.
