Live-In Nanny / Housekeeper
Location: Tonbridge, Kent

Salary: £700 per week
Accommodation: Private self-contained apartment
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–7:00pm

Hummingbird Homestaff is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a lovely family in Tonbridge who are seeking a warm, reliable, and proactive Live-In Nanny / Housekeeper to join their household from the beginning of August.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combining childcare with housekeeping and is looking for a long-term role with a welcoming family. The family have two independent children aged 10 and 13, along with a friendly Cockapoo, and are looking for someone who will become a valued part of their home.

Accommodation

The successful candidate will be provided with their own self-contained apartment, offering complete privacy and independence. The accommodation includes:

Private entrance/front door
Kitchen
Bedroom
Living space
Bathroom
The Role

During school hours, the focus will be on housekeeping and ensuring the home is running smoothly. Before and after school, responsibilities will centre around supporting the children and assisting with their daily routines.

Duties Include

Childcare

Helping with the children's morning routine and preparing them for school
Providing after-school support and supervision
Preparing healthy meals and snacks
Supporting the children's routines and activities as required
Being a positive, reliable presence within the family home

Housekeeping

Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised home
Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organisation
Bed changing and linen care
General household cleaning and tidying
Managing household supplies and keeping on top of daily household tasks
Ensuring the home is well presented at all times

Pet Care

Caring for the family's friendly Cockapoo
Dog walking and general pet care when required
The Ideal Candidate

The family is looking for someone who:

Has previous nanny, nanny-housekeeper, or housekeeping experience
Is warm, caring, and professional
Is highly organised and able to work independently
Enjoys maintaining a well-run household
Is trustworthy, reliable, and discreet
Is comfortable around dogs
Has excellent timekeeping and a positive attitude
