Dedicated p/t Baby Nanny for family in Kensal Rise
Location: Kensal Rise, London
Contract: Part-time, Permanent (approx. 15 hours per week)

A lovely private family based in Kensal Rise, London, are seeking an experienced and nurturing part-time Nanny to support them in caring for their four-month-old baby boy and assisting with the smooth running of their family home. This is a wonderful opportunity for a warm, proactive, and reliable Nanny with strong baby experience who is confident supporting a hands-on mother while also being capable of working independently when needed.
As part of the role, the successful candidate will undertake all usual nursery duties such as washing and sterilising bottles, organising toys, baby’s laundry and assist with the general tidiness and organisation of the home. It is of essence that the successful candidate holds relevant childcare qualifications and infant-specific training, as well as prior experience within a private household.
The family are flexible regarding working hours and would consider either approximately three weekday mornings per week (from around 7:30am until lunchtime) or two slightly longer working days per week for the right candidate. A friendly and informal household environment, the family are looking to build a strong relationship with the Nanny and might be looking to increase the working hours from early next year, should the role be a good mutual fit on both sides.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
• Supporting the daily care and routine of a four-month-old baby
• Assisting with feeds, bottle preparation, sterilising, changing nappies, and settling for naps
• Taking the baby out for walks and age-appropriate activities
• Supporting developmental milestones and providing engaging stimulation
• Working collaboratively alongside the mother and following her preferred routines and instructions
• Maintaining nursery cleanliness and organisation
• Washing, folding, and organising the baby’s laundry and clothing
• Preparing simple meals/snacks when required
• Running occasional errands if required
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior professional nanny experience caring for babies and young infants
• Relevant childcare qualifications, including infant-specific training
• Up-to-date enhanced DBS check
• Valid Paediatric First Aid certification
• Warm, nurturing, and proactive approach to childcare
• Confident working collaboratively with a hands-on parent while also able to work independently
• Experience supporting developmental milestones and age-appropriate routines
• Organised, reliable, and trustworthy with excellent attention to detail
• Good spoken English and strong communication skills
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
• London-based
