Weekend Housekeeper/Cook needed in Central London

A high-net-worth family of 7 based in Central London are looking for an experienced, versatile and
proactive Housekeeper/Cook to provide housekeeping, laundry and cooking duties over the weekend.
The family have a weekend nanny, so no childcare duties will be required, however, a child friendly
team player is required as they have 5 young children.
Responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the family’s home, you will take responsibility for all
housekeeping and laundry over the weekend, though the nanny will support with child-related laundry
and upkeep of children’s rooms, where possible. As part of the role, you will also prepare meals for
the family over the weekend, so the successful candidate will be a confident family cook who is able
to prepare simple, non-fussy family-style meals.
Working from 8am-8pm on a Saturday and Sunday, the role is offered on a live-out basis. The ideal
candidate will be a friendly and energetic team player with a positive disposition, and professional
demeanour. There are no pets in the home.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• General cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing, cleaning bathrooms and
kitchen
• Laundry and ironing, putting laundry away
• General tidying and organisation of the home
• Family style cooking and meal preparation
• Laying/clearing the table
• Grocery shopping (if needed)
• Liaise with the nanny to ensure the smooth running of the family’s day
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior housekeeping experience in a high-end private household
• Confident cook with the ability to prepare wholesome, fresh family-style meals
• Trustworthy, reliable, and honest
• A clear communicator with excellent organisational skills
• Kind, caring and approachable
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Good team player, energetic, and discreet
• Flexible, adaptable and happy to muck in where required
• DBS check or willingness to obtain one
• London-based
