Temporary Night Nanny – Job Specification
Location: Cookham, Berkshire
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 4 weeks
Schedule: 2 nights per week Ideally between Monday – Friday.
Hours: 10:00pm – 7:00am
Salary: £25 per hour

• Newborn baby, 3 weeks old
Overview:
A family based in Cookham is seeking an experienced and supportive temporary night nanny to assist with the care of their newborn baby for a four-week period. Mum is currently combi feeding, so the family is looking for someone confident supporting both breast and bottle feeding routines overnight.
This is a lovely opportunity for a calm, experienced and professional night nanny who can provide reassurance and practical newborn support during the early weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sole and shared care of the newborn overnight
• Supporting with feeds throughout the night
• Assisting with settling and soothing the baby
• Sterilising and preparing bottles where required
• Monitoring and supporting the baby’s overnight routine
• Keeping baby-related areas tidy during shifts
• Offering guidance and reassurance to parents where appropriate
Accommodation During Shift:
• Own bedroom provided with cot for baby
Requirements:
• Previous night nanny / newborn care experience essential
• Confident supporting combi feeding
• Calm, nurturing and professional approach
• Excellent newborn knowledge and understanding of infant routines
• Reliable and discreet
