A warm and welcoming family with three children is seeking a caring, proactive and outdoorsy nanny with a positive, hands-on attitude.

The two older children are sporty and active, and the youngest child will begin Kindergarten in September for three days each week. The family also have a pony, so an interest in country life and outdoor activities would be a lovely fit.

The role will involve all usual nanny duties, including preparing healthy meals for the children, batch cooking and supporting with homework. Although the family employ a cleaner, they would appreciate someone who is happy to help keep the household running smoothly with light housekeeping tasks such as family laundry, emptying the dishwasher, making the children’s beds and occasional light hoovering.

The family also have a small Norfolk Terrier, so the nanny must be comfortable walking the dog.

Working hours:
Term time: Monday to Thursday, 11:00am–7:30pm
An earlier start may occasionally be required when both parents are travelling for work.)

School holidays (approximately 12 weeks per year):
Monday to Thursday, 8:00am–6:30pm

Additional babysitting would be appreciated, along with flexibility to travel with the family for up to one week per year. The nanny’s annual leave will need to align with the family’s holiday dates.

A confident driver is essential, and a car will be provided for work use.

There is the option to live in from Monday to Thursday, with a private en suite bedroom available. A separate cottage in the village may also become available from January.
