Nanny
Part-time Nanny in SW15

• Children: Boy aged 10 (turning 11 in July) & Girl aged 8 (turning 9 in June)
• Salary: £20-25 gross per hour, DOE
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–8:00pm (occasional weekend cover, agreed in advance)
• Start Date: Negotiable
• Travel: Yes, occasional (Europe including Sweden and Mediterranean)
A warm, close-knit family based in SW15 is seeking an experienced, caring and proactive Nanny to join their household team in a long-term role caring for their two school-aged children.
The family is looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about working with children and who can bring a calm, structured and nurturing presence to the home. This is a supportive household with a well-run team in place, and they value professionalism, reliability and a positive attitude.
A key requirement for this role is experience supporting children with ADHD and dyslexia. The family is looking for someone who is confident working with neurodiverse children, and who can bring patience, structure, creativity and consistency to daily routines and learning support.
Duties will include:
• School pick-up (via family car and driver)
• Transporting children to and from after-school activities
• Homework support, reading and learning support (with tailored approach for ADHD and dyslexia)
• Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities and playdates
• Preparing and serving children’s meals and snacks
• Supporting daily routines including bath and bedtime
• Providing daily updates to parents on the children’s day and wellbeing
• Children’s laundry and wardrobe organisation
• Keeping bedrooms and play areas tidy and well organised
• Packing children’s belongings ahead of travel
• Flagging any supplies or household needs relating to the children
The family travels regularly and would like someone who is open to joining them on occasion. All travel is planned in advance and all accommodation and expenses are fully covered.
There may also be occasional weekend or evening cover required, always agreed ahead of time.
The ideal candidate will:
• Have previous nanny experience in a private household or similar setting
• Have strong experience supporting children with ADHD, dyslexia or additional needs
• Be calm, patient, structured and engaging in approach
• Be highly reliable, organised and proactive
• Be confident communicating with parents and providing clear daily feedback
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Have a valid passport and be open to occasional travel
• Have the right to work in the UK
Desirable:
• Experience in a formal or UHNW private household
• Interest in education, learning and child development
• Additional languages
