Maternity Nurse
A warm and engaging temporary nanny role supporting a busy young family in Highgate over the summer months, caring primarily for a 7-month-old baby girl alongside support for her older brother.
This role would suit an experienced nanny who is naturally warm, playful and confident supporting babies through important developmental stages. The family are looking for someone calm, easy-going and genuinely enjoyable to have around the home — a nanny who can build a lovely relationship with both children while supporting routines, development and day-to-day care. The position will focus primarily on the care of the baby girl, including supporting weaning, encouraging developmental milestones such as crawling, attending baby classes and creating a stimulating and nurturing environment throughout the day. The family’s 2-year-old son attends nursery, although occasional nursery pick-ups may be required during the week. Both parents work from home on Mondays and Fridays, so the role would suit a nanny who is confident working collaboratively alongside parents within a shared-care environment. A lovely temporary summer role with a warm young family, offering a gradual settling-in period before transitioning into full-time hours, focused on developmental baby care within a relaxed and welcoming home environment.
Please note there will be an initial settling-in period from 1st June 2026, consisting of shorter days and/or part weeks across approximately two weeks before transitioning into full-time hours.
