Job Summary
A warm and welcoming family based in Somerset are seeking an energetic, proactive, and experienced Temporary Nanny Housekeeper to support them throughout the summer holidays.
The role will involve a combination of sole-charge childcare, activity planning, and household support for energetic 4-year-old twins. The family are looking for a candidate who can create a fun, engaging, and structured summer while ensuring the household runs smoothly during the busy holiday period.

Job Specification
Childcare Duties:
Sole-charge care of 4-year-old twins during the summer holidays
Planning fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities
Organising outings, day trips, park visits, swimming, and outdoor play
Supporting reading, learning, and developmental activities throughout the summer
Preparing healthy meals, snacks, and picnic lunches
Managing routines while remaining flexible during holiday periods
Supervising playdates and holiday activities
Packing bags and essentials for outings and activities
Assisting with travel and holiday preparations if required
Occasional babysitting or proxy parenting if needed
Housekeeping Duties:
Keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas organised and tidy
Managing children’s laundry, including swimwear and holiday clothing
General household tidying and organisation
Running errands and grocery shopping
Providing additional household support while the children are home full-time
Candidate Specification
Previous experience working as a nanny or nanny housekeeper within a private household
Confident caring for multiple young children
Energetic, engaging, and proactive approach
Organised and able to manage busy summer schedules
Confident swimmer and comfortable supervising swimming activities
Driver preferred
Flexible and adaptable attitude
Warm, fun, and nurturing personality
Confident managing sole-charge care
Excellent communication skills and professional presentation

Accommodation
Private live-in accommodation is available Monday – Friday whilst working, including a private bedroom and bathroom within the family home.

Compliance
Enhanced DBS required at offer stage.
