A genuinely lovely and easy-going family are seeking a warm, experienced and flexible Live-In Nanny to care for their happy and engaging 20-month-old daughter whilst they are temporarily based in Cardiff. With Mum’s demanding work commitments and Dad working abroad for periods of time, they are looking for a nanny who can provide a consistent, nurturing and fun environment for their little girl during this exciting chapter.

The role will involve all nursery duties, including supporting her daily routine and development, organising age-appropriate activities and outings, nursery drop-offs and collections where required, meal preparation, naps, and bath and bedtime routines. There will also be opportunities for her to spend time with Mum during breaks in the day when possible.

Days will typically begin from around 6:00am, when Mum leaves for work, with responsibility for listening out on the monitor and starting the day once their daughter wakes. The day will generally finish around 7:00pm, although flexibility is essential as schedules may occasionally change. There may also be breaks during the day when she is attending nursery or napping.

The position will be based in Cardiff from Sunday evening to Friday. Mum and her daughter are likely to return to London at weekends; however, the nanny will not be required to travel with them and will be free to spend weekends as they wish. Comfortable live-in accommodation is provided, including a private bedroom and bathroom.

A confident driver is essential.

The ideal candidate will be warm, calm, proactive and genuinely passionate about working with young children. They will have previous nanny experience, an up-to-date Paediatric First Aid qualification, Enhanced DBS check, excellent references and a full clean driving licence. Above all, they will be adaptable, dependable and able to provide a happy and secure environment for a thriving toddler.
