Experienced Career Nanny – Berlin Area | Full-Time | Live-In or Live-Out

Job description:
A warm and welcoming professional family based near Berlin is seeking an experienced, calm, and proactive long-term nanny to support their two young children, aged almost 3 years and a 7 month old baby. The family is looking for a nurturing and emotionally intelligent candidate who genuinely enjoys childcare and can confidently manage both children independently. The ideal nanny will be naturally organised, socially intuitive, and able to balance professionalism with a gentle, supportive presence within the home. Comfort with evolving family routines, occasional travel, and child-related household organisation is important. International candidates and English speakers are very welcome. German is not essential for the role.

Duties:
Full childcare support for two young children
Maintaining calm routines and structure within the home
Nursery/kindergarten routines and pick-ups
Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities
Managing bath, mealtime, and bedtime routines
Child-related organisation including laundry, tidying, and wardrobe management
Accompanying the family on occasional travel

Requirements:
Previous nanny and private household experience
Organised, flexible, and proactive approach
Calm, confident, and professional manner
Driver preferred – a car can be provided for work-related use, with petrol expenses covered by the family. Alternatively, a public transport ticket may also be provided.
English required | Additional languages welcome

The family also has a gentle older Magyar Vizsla dog who is very much part of the home. The nanny should be comfortable around dogs and happy to occasionally assist with walks if needed.

Full-time, long-term role offering 40 hours per week, with some flexibility required.
