A weekend maternity nurse role in Belgravia supporting a 5-month-old baby within a fully staffed household while covering the family’s regular maternity nurse over the summer.


This is a lovely short-term rota-style role suited to an experienced maternity nurse who is calm, organised and confident maintaining established routines within a fully staffed private household environment. A family based in Belgravia are seeking an experienced Weekend Maternity Nurse to provide weekend cover for their regular maternity nurse across 7 weekends between June and August. The role will focus on the care of a 5-month-old baby who is currently following an established routine and sleep-training plan with their regular maternity nurse. The family are therefore looking for someone detail-oriented, consistent and confident maintaining routines and sleep structures already in place. The successful candidate will support all aspects of the baby’s care across the weekends, including feeding, nursery organisation and baby laundry, while helping ensure the household continues to run smoothly and consistently during the regular maternity nurse’s time off. There is also an older sibling in the home with their own nanny, so the successful candidate should be comfortable working collaboratively as part of a wider childcare team within a fully staffed household environment. The family are looking for someone calm, professional and easy to have around, with a reassuring and steady presence within the home. This role will suit an experienced maternity nurse who enjoys working with older babies and can confidently step into an established routine-focused environment.
