Start Date: August but can wait until September for the right candidate.

Ages of Children: 6.5 months old by then.
Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 Gross per annum, £19-£21 Gross per hour
Pets: A friendly and hypoallergenic cat.

Overview:
A lovely family are looking for a warm, experienced and reliable nanny to care for their baby who will be around 6.5 months old at the beginning of August. The role will be for two full days per week, with flexibility on which days are worked between Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, as dad covers Fridays and nursery is planned for Mondays.

The family are hoping to find someone calm, caring and confident with this age group, ideally with strong baby experience and a good understanding of routines, weaning and early development. They would love a nanny who is naturally engaging, organised and happy planning age-appropriate activities while creating a calm and nurturing environment throughout the day.

Duties:

The role will involve all standard nursery duties related to a baby of this age, including preparing bottles and meals, supporting weaning, changing nappies and maintaining naps and daily routines. The nanny will spend time planning age-appropriate activities to support development, including sensory play, reading, singing, tummy time, outdoor walks and interactive play throughout the day.
Responsibilities will also include keeping the baby’s areas tidy and organised, washing and organising baby clothes and belongings, sterilising bottles when needed and helping maintain a calm and structured environment. The family are looking for someone nurturing and attentive who can confidently support the baby’s development while helping routines run smoothly day to day.
