GOVERNOR

SALARY: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum, DOE

We are looking for a young, active, and sporty individual.

We are directly looking for an exceptional Governor to become a trusted and consistent presence in the lives of our daughters.

The role is Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 9:00pm (35 hours per week, with flexibility for additional hours when required)

Travel during school holidays on a shared rota with the existing governess.

Candidates must be London-based, experienced in working within private family environments, and comfortable with the demands of a dynamic household.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE

• Supporting the children with homework, with a strong focus on English
• Instilling values of calmness, respect, good manners, and independence
• Encouraging and motivating the children in their sporting activities
• Acting as a positive and firm role model who the children genuinely admire
• Working collaboratively and professionally alongside the existing governor
• Travelling with the family during school holidays on a rotational basis
• Maintaining the highest levels of discretion and respect for the family’s privacy

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Full, clean driving licence
• Strong knowledge of the British school system
• Previous experience working with girls in a governed or managed family setting
• Exceptional ability to manage stress and remain calm under pressure
• Highly structured, organised, and trustworthy

DESIRABLE

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Second language — Spanish or French
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
