They are a family of three (soon-to-be four!) living in the Zurich Enge area.

He is Swiss, and his wife is German with Turkish roots. They are looking for a new long-term addition to their household starting in July, as their current housekeeper is sadly leaving Switzerland. Their 3-year-old son is very easy-going and is already accustomed to a multilingual environment; he attends a Mandarin daycare once a week and understands the language well, though he mainly speaks (Swiss) German and Turkish.

The Role

They are seeking someone to support them with weekly housekeeping and occasional childcare. To ensure everyone feels comfortable, this role will start mainly with housekeeping. As their children get to know the new addition and a bond is formed, they would like to gradually increase the babysitting duties at a pace that works for everyone.

Housekeeping (Primary focus at the start):** -

General cleaning of the entire apartment (vacuuming and mopping floors, dusting, etc.).
Thorough cleaning of the bathrooms and kitchen. -
Laundry management, including washing, ironing, and folding clothes.
Changing bed sheets and keeping the home generally tidy.
Childcare & Babysitting (Gradual introduction):** -

Ad-hoc babysitting, primarily for their 3-year-old son.
Occasional care and support for a newborn. -
Providing general childcare assistance when they are at home and just need an extra pair of hands.
Please note: To ensure everyone feels comfortable, this role will start mainly as a housekeeping position. They want to give their children time to get to know the new addition and feel safe. Once a good bond is established, they will gradually increase the babysitting duties at a pace that works for both parties.

Language Requirements

The ideal candidate must speak at least one of the following languages: German, Turkish, or Chinese (Mandarin).
