Nanny-Housekeeper
The role is for a Part-Time Nanny-Housekeeper in West London (W6, Ravenscourt Park area). The hours would be Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM – 7:00 PM (14 hours per week) all year round. The role would be fully taxed and contracted via Nannytax

About Our Family
We are an active family with three daughters. Our youngest is transitioning into secondary school this September, meaning our childcare needs are shifting. We no longer require hands-on, sole-charge childcare for young children. Instead, we are looking for an organised, reliable, and warm Nanny-Housekeeper to help keep our home running smoothly in the late afternoons, and provide a welcoming presence when the girls return from school.

Key Responsibilities
• Family Cooking: Preparing a nutritious, fresh evening meal for the whole family from scratch.
• Laundry & Wardrobe Management: Managing the family’s laundry (washing, drying, putting away).
• Light Housekeeping: General afternoon tidying up, keeping the kitchen clean after cooking, and ensuring communal areas are organized.
• After-School Presence: Being at home to welcome the girls back from school. While the older girls are independent and our youngest does not require homework help or active supervision (although may need a quick reminder to do her homework and practice her instrument), we value someone who can provide a warm, supportive presence and occasionally engage or chat with them if they are free.

Schedule, School Holidays & Contract
This is a permanent, year-round position offering a steady, predictable income.
• Working Hours: 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Thursday.
• School Half-Terms: You will work the exact same afternoon hours during school half-terms.
• Holiday Entitlement: You will receive full statutory paid holiday (pro-rata for 4 days a week). We implement a 50/50 holiday split: 2 weeks of annual leave can be chosen by you and 2 weeks will be specified by us, all to be taken during half terms.
• Extra Time Off: In reality, there will likely be additional weeks during school holidays where we will not require you. On these occasions, you will receive Fully Paid Discretionary Leave—meaning your regular monthly salary remains entirely unaffected.

The Ideal Candidate
• Enjoys family cooking and is confident preparing fresh, healthy meals.
• Organised, proactive, strong communication skills and happy to balance laundry and light housekeeping duties.
• Warm, grounded, and comfortable around teenagers/secondary school-aged children.
• Must have excellent checkable references and an enhanced DBS check.
• Legally entitled to work in the UK.

How to Apply
If you are an organized individual looking for a reliable, long-term afternoon role in a friendly household, please apply with your CV and a brief note about your experience. We manage our payroll formally through Nannytax, ensuring a straightforward contract, pension setup, and payslips.
