Nanny Role Specification
A busy, welcoming family living and working on a farm with an on-site farm shop, looking for a calm, caring and capable nanny to become part of our family life.

About the Family
Three children aged 9, 10 and 13 . Living in Gloucestershire GL4 0UG
All children have ADHD and varying individual needs
We are looking for someone patient, emotionally intelligent and able to provide calm, consistent support in a busy household environment
The children are active, outdoorsy and love animals

The Role
This is a varied, hands-on nanny position suited to someone who enjoys country life, being outdoors and getting involved in family life.

Responsibilities include:

School pick-ups and drop-offs
Taking children to clubs and activities
Supporting homework and routines
Preparing dinners and snacks
Encouraging play, outdoor activities and positive engagement
Helping the children participate in and enjoy aspects of farm life
Providing emotional support, structure and reassurance where needed
General “muck in” attitude with family life
Hours
Approximately 37–40 hours per week
Includes one weekend day each week
Flexibility required, with willingness to alternate between Saturday and Sunday as needed

Requirements
Essential:

Experienced nanny or childcare professional
Calm, caring and reliable nature
Confident supporting children with ADHD/additional needs
Full clean driving licence
Comfortable driving children regularly
Enhanced DBS check
Excellent references
Flexible and adaptable approach
Animal lover and happy working in a rural/farm environment
