Sole Charge Live-Out Nanny Specification – Bromley

A warm and professional family based in Bromley is seeking a loving and experienced live-out nanny to care for their baby girl, who will be 6 months old at the commencement of the role in early July. This is a long-term position with a kind and welcoming family who are hoping to find a nanny that will become a valued part of their family for years to come.

The ideal nanny will be calm, patient, nurturing, and genuinely passionate about supporting early childhood development. Previous sole charge experience caring for babies under one year old is essential, alongside a confident and proactive approach to infant care routines.

The family are Muslim and, whilst they are not specifically seeking a Muslim nanny, it is important to them to find someone who is respectful and understanding of their traditions, values, and family culture.

Start Date: Beginning of July
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Child: One baby girl, aged 6 months at start of role
Term: Long-term position
Salary: Up to around £21 gross per hour

Experienced in sole charge care of babies under one year old
Confident supporting developmental milestones and routines
Respectful of the family’s Muslim faith, traditions, and values
Reliable, organised, and proactive
Duties Will Include
Sole charge care of the baby throughout the day
Supporting and maintaining a consistent nap schedule
Assisting with weaning and preparing age-appropriate meals/snacks
Taking the baby to local groups, activities, and outings
Creating a stimulating, safe, and happy environment
Nursery duties related to the child
Maintaining strong communication with the parents regarding routines and development
Additional Requirements
A driver with their own car would be highly desirable
Previous long-term nanny roles preferred
Enhanced DBS and excellent references required
