A professional family based in SW8 is seeking an experienced and reliable live-out nanny to care for their 6-month-old baby. This is a long-term position for someone confident with infant care, routines and early development.

Salary

£18 gross per hour
Approx. £900 gross per week
Equivalent to approximately £47,000 gross per annum

Role Overview

The family is looking for a calm, reliable and experienced nanny who can provide attentive care and support the baby’s daily routine and development.

The role will focus fully on the baby’s care, with all duties related to the child only. The family has household support, so no deep cleaning is required.

Main Responsibilities

Nanny Duties

All aspects of baby care
Bottle preparation and feeding support
Managing naps and daily routines
Sterilising bottles and feeding equipment
Baby laundry
Keeping the nursery and play areas clean and organised
Planning age-appropriate activities
Supporting early development and milestones
Creating a safe, calm and stimulating environment
Taking the baby out for walks and local activities

Child-related Housekeeping

Keeping the baby’s areas tidy
Organising baby clothes, toys and supplies
Maintaining feeding and changing areas
No deep cleaning

Travel

Occasional flexibility may be required, including overnight stays when needed.

Requirements

Experienced with babies under 1 year old
Confident with infant routines and early development
Fluent in English or French
Reliable and organised
Proactive and flexible
DBS check required
Paediatric First Aid preferred
