Looking for an after school nanny + a few extra hours of household support for our wonderful 4 year old daughter (5th birthday in 1 month)

* ASAP start
* Up to £30 gph for an exceptional candidate
* Mon-Friday after school with 2 prep hours per day + additional babysitting
* Driver preferred but not essential
* Ideally local in the West London area (Shepherds bush, Hammersmith, Chiswick, Ealing Fulham)
* Pet care help

The Role

- Managing school pickups near Ravenscourt Park (she is in Reception year)
- Planning and coordinating age-appropriate activities
- Preparing healthy meals and snacks
- Helping to walk our puppy on school runs or during the day (a very friendly chocolate spaniel)
- Maintaining clear communication regarding schedules and children's development
- Organising outdoor activities, playdates, and educational outings during holiday periods
- Supporting children's social and emotional development through structured play and learning activities
- Helping with homework, music practice and extra learning activities (French, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese language is a huge benefit here)
- Keeping environments tidy and organised after activities
- Planning and executing holiday programs during school breaks including:
- Park visits and nature exploration
- Playdates with local/school friends
- Taking her to swimming and sports activities
- Additional babysitting

- Strong communication abilities to effectively coordinate with the family
- Flexibility and adaptability to the family routines and environment
- Patient and calm demeanour, especially during transitions
- Proactive problem-solving approach
- Energy and enthusiasm for creating engaging activities
- Diplomatic and professional in managing relationships, including with other nannies
- Physical stamina for active days with young children

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Previous nanny experience with school age children highly preferred
- Valid First Aid certification
- Clean enhanced DBS check
- Relevant childcare qualifications (CACHE, NNEB, or equivalent)
- Full, clean driving license preferred
- Strong references from previous employers
