Job Title: After-School Nanny

Job Details:

Days & Hours Required: Monday to Friday | 2:00 PM–6:00 PM | 20 hours per week
(Flexibility for additional hours and occasional weekends if mutually agreed)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Willesden – NW10

Ages of Children: 6 yo, 9 yo

Salary: £20–£25 gross per hour

Driver: Required (automatic car provided)

Overview:

A wonderful family based in Willesden is looking for a proactive, organised, and warm after-school nanny to support their two school-aged children.

The role focuses on school pick-ups, homework support, tutoring, and creating a calm, engaging, and structured afternoon routine. The family is looking for someone kind, energetic, and confident supporting the children’s emotional, social, and academic development.

This position would suit someone with a teaching, tutoring, or TA background who enjoys working closely with children and encouraging learning in a positive and nurturing way.

Duties:

School pick-ups (walking or driving), supporting homework and tutoring, assisting with 7+ preparation, planning engaging and educational activities, preparing healthy snacks/meals, and supporting the evening routine.

The nanny will help create a structured and positive after-school environment while encouraging independence, confidence, and learning development.

Occasional additional babysitting or weekend support may be requested by mutual agreement.

Skills and Other Requirements:
Experience with school-aged children
Strong tutoring/homework support skills
Education background (teacher / TA / tutor) a strong bonus
Warm, patient, and proactive personality
Confident supporting learning development and 7+ preparation
Driver essential (automatic car provided)
Fluent English
DBS & Paediatric First Aid
Excellent references
Right to work in the UK
