Working Days & Hours:
Monday – Friday
09:00 – 19:00 (50 hours per week) with additional of 1 evening of babysitting

Job Summary

A warm, down-to-earth and professional family based in Paddington, Central London, are seeking a dedicated and experienced Live-out Nanny to care for their baby on a sole charge basis.

The role will commence in September 2026, when the baby transitions from a maternity nurse at approximately 5 months old. Both parents work in demanding professional roles and are looking for a nanny who can provide consistent, attentive, and nurturing care during the working week.

This is a long-term opportunity for a nanny who is passionate about early years development and is looking to become a meaningful part of a child’s life within a respectful and appreciative household.

Job Specification

Sole charge care of a young baby
Maintaining feeding routines (including bottle preparation and weaning stages)
Managing sleep routines and nap schedules
Planning and engaging in age-appropriate developmental activities
Supporting key early milestones
Taking the child out daily (walks, baby groups, fresh air)
Bathing, dressing, and maintaining hygiene
Preparing healthy, nutritious meals for the child
Keeping the child’s environment clean, safe, and organised
Monitoring health and administering medication if required
Providing regular updates to parents on development and routines
Babysitting approximately once per week

Candidate Specification
Minimum 3 years’ professional childcare experience
Strong knowledge of infant care and early years development
Confident in a sole charge role
Calm, nurturing, and proactive approach
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Positive, warm, and engaging personality
Interest in child development, creativity, and learning
Norland qualification desirable (not essential)
Enhanced DBS and excellent references required
Happy to travel max four times a year with the family to Italy

Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid required at offer stage
