Live-out Nanny – Cayman Islands

Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 gross per annum
Contract Length: Permanent
Working Days: Tuesday–Saturday
Working hours: Tuesday 9:30-5:30, Thursday & Saturday 10-5:30, Wednesday & Friday 11-7:30pm (= 40 hours) + 2 nights of babysitting per month
Intervals of pay: Monthly
Start Date: ASAP
Contractual Notice Period: 2 weeks during first 3 months’ probation then 6 weeks after that

Statement: A lovely family based in the Cayman Islands is seeking a warm, knowledgeable, and proactive live-out Nanny to care for their 6-month-old daughter on a long-term basis.

Summary

The family is keen to find someone experienced with babies who can confidently support development and routines, while also being calm, adaptable, and not overly forceful in their approach.

Duties
Full nursery duties
Supporting routines and development
Taking the baby outdoors and organising stimulating activities
Preparing bottles and meals as weaning progresses
Keeping nursery areas organised and tidy
Supporting developmental milestones in an engaging and age-appropriate way
Candidate Requirements
Strong baby experience essential
Knowledge or experience of Montessori / N.A.A.B approaches desirable
Organised, proactive, and able to take initiative
Driver essential
Fluent English speaker
Warm, calm, and collaborative personality
Happy with island life and relocating internationally

The family has a pet rabbit
One return flight home per year included
Accommodation provided for the first 2 weeks on arrival
