Job Summary:
This family is seeking a proactive and organised nanny to join their fully staffed household following the departure of their long-term au pair, who is returning to Australia in August. The family has four lively children aged 9, 7, 5, and 4, with three attending St Paul’s School and the youngest attending The Hall. The role will work closely alongside Simone, the family’s long-standing nanny of nine years, in a supportive and collaborative environment where staff are genuinely valued and treated as part of the family.
This is a live-out position, primarily Monday to Friday, supporting after-school routines, activities, homework, and children’s organisation, with occasional travel and one weekend per month spent at the family’s country home in Kent. The family would love someone warm, cheerful, and educationally focused, ideally with a strong understanding of the UK curriculum and experience supporting children with early years learning and 7+/11+ preparation.

General Duties:
• Assisting with children’s laundry and organisation before school runs
• Preparing children’s dinners and supporting weekly menu planning
• Managing school bags, uniforms, and activity preparation
• Supporting school pick-ups and transporting children to activities
• Assisting with homework, reading, and school preparation
• Supporting early years learning and 7+/11+ preparation
• Helping with evening routines and bedtime
• Working collaboratively with the existing nanny and housekeeper
• Occasional travel during school holidays and weekends in Kent

Candidate Requirements:
• Previous nanny experience with children of similar ages
• Strong understanding of the UK curriculum and early years development
• Ability to support homework and academic preparation
• Teaching background highly desirable, ideally with nanny experience
• Organised, forward-thinking, and proactive
• Cheerful, flexible, and team-oriented personality
• Happy to travel and work one weekend per month
• Driver preferred to help with school runs
• Cat Friendly
