A French family residing in Westhill, Aberdeen is seeking a part-time governess for their two daughters aged 7 and 9. The children currently attend a French school in Aberdeen; however, the school will unfortunately be closing at the end of this academic year. As a result, they will begin following the CNED French curriculum from September onwards. The family are therefore looking for a French-speaking governess/tutor who can help maintain a strong academic level in French, particularly in literacy, reading, writing and general support with the French primary curriculum. The ideal candidate will be seeking a long-term part time after school role for approximately 10 hours per week. A candidate that knows the French primary curriculum and literacy with a strong educational background and who is confident supporting age groups from 7-11 years. The candidate would need to be local with their own car as the area they live in is a 20-minute drive from Aberdeen in a relatively remote area. The family will be away during the summer so wanted to start the search ahead of time to have an opportunity to interview/trial potential candidates. The role shall start around mid-August or the beginning of September.
