Temporary / Traveling nanny needed - London and South of France

A warm and flexible family is seeking an experienced, caring, and proactive nanny to provide temporary support for their 2.5-year-old son while their regular nanny is away. The role is divided between a live-out position in London and a live-in travel role in the South of France.

The family is looking for someone energetic, engaging, and confident caring for toddlers, with a relaxed yet professional approach.

London Role – Live-Out

Dates: 26th May – 15th June 2026
Location: N16, London
Schedule: Approximately Monday–Friday, 10am–6pm, with flexibility for occasional evenings, overnight stays, or weekend support as required.

The family works for themselves, so flexibility and adaptability are important. The exact dates and hours may vary slightly for the right candidate.

Duties include:

Sole-charge care of a 2.5-year-old boy
Planning fun, age-appropriate activities and outings
Supporting routines, meals, naps, and bedtime when required
Creating a warm, stimulating, and safe environment
Light nursery duties related to the child
Maintaining clear and open communication with the parents

Salary: Around £25 per hour, negotiable depending on experience and suitability.

Travel Role – Sète, France

Dates: 1st – 8th July 2026
Accommodation: Private bedroom, bathroom, and personal space provided in a beachfront property with a pool.

The family is also seeking the nanny to accompany them on a summer trip to Sète, France. This will be a more immersive travel role requiring flexibility and a team-player attitude.

Duties include:

Providing attentive care throughout the trip
Assisting with daily routines, play, meals, and bedtime
Supporting the family during outings and beach/pool activities
Packing/unpacking the child’s belongings if needed
Being flexible and available as part of a shared family holiday environment

Travel Rate: Approximately £400 per day depending on the candidate and experience.

Candidate Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ professional childcare experience
Confident caring for toddlers
Warm, engaging, and reliable personality
Flexible and adaptable with scheduling
Travel experience preferred
Excellent references and DBS/Police Check preferred
