Maternity Nurse
A maternity nurse role supporting first-time parents, focussing on newborn care, feeding support and establishing calm, flexible routines.
Job Summary
This is a warm and supportive role suited to an experienced maternity nurse who can provide calm guidance while helping first-time parents enjoy and settle into life with their newborn. A young international couple are seeking an experienced Maternity Nurse to support them following the arrival of their first baby in October. The family are currently planning for the baby to be born in London before later returning to Cairo, and are looking for a calm, knowledgeable professional who can support them during the newborn stage while adapting naturally to the family’s relaxed and flexible approach. Mum is hoping to breastfeed but remains open-minded and would like to introduce a bottle feed overnight to allow for more rest and flexibility. The family would value someone supportive and experienced who can guide feeding and routines in a gentle, balanced and non-prescriptive way. The role will begin with 24-hour care, although the family would appreciate some flexibility should they later wish to transition into a nights-only structure once routines are more established and everyone is settling well.
This position will suit a warm, professional maternity nurse who enjoys working collaboratively with first-time parents and supporting them in feeling calm, confident and able to enjoy the early weeks with their baby.
