A lovely family of four based in North Finchley are seeking a proactive and personable Nanny / Housekeeper to support their busy household on a part-time, permanent basis. The role will primarily involve caring for their two children, aged 6 and 3, while also assisting with light household duties and family administration.

Working days are currently Tuesday to Thursday, from around 3:00pm to 9:00pm, though there is potential for the role to become Monday to Friday for the right candidate. The family are ideally looking for someone local to the area who is flexible, hands-on, and enjoys being part of a family environment.

The children are active, friendly, and enjoy a busy after-school schedule. Duties will include Duties will include pickups from after-school clubs, assisting with homework, preparing meals for the children, and supporting the evening routine. The family also employ a cleaner who manages deep cleaning and the majority of household cleaning duties, so the housekeeping element will focus more on light tidying, laundry, organisation, and helping to keep the household running smoothly.

In addition, the role will include some family PA-style duties such as managing calendars, coordinating children’s clubs and activities, receiving deliveries, and liaising with contractors when required. The family also have a cat, so candidates must be pet-friendly.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• School pick-ups and supervising the children after school
• walking the children home from after-school club
• Assisting with homework and educational activities
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Light housekeeping, tidying, and family laundry
• Organising children’s belongings and activity schedules
• Managing family calendars and children’s clubs
• Receiving deliveries and liaising with contractors as required
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the household

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Previous experience in a similar Nanny / Housekeeper role
• Warm, energetic, and proactive nature
• Highly organised and able to multitask
• Pet-friendly
• Local to North Finchley or surrounding areas preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional, reliable, and hands-on attitude
• Right to work in the UK
• Up-to-date DBS check and pediatric first aid certificate
• Excellent checkable references
