Overview:

A warm and welcoming family are looking for an experienced nanny-housekeeper to join them long term from June, helping care for their three children aged 3 years old and 13-month-old twins. Their current live-in nanny is sadly leaving due to personal circumstances, so they are hoping to find someone kind, reliable and energetic who can become a real extension of the family.
The role can be either live-in or live-out, depending on the right person. The family are very open, relaxed and easy-going. They are mainly looking for someone proactive who can confidently take initiative and genuinely enjoys working with young children, especially in a busy household. Experience with twins or multiple children would be a huge plus.

From June until August, the role will focus mainly on helping with the twins full time while the eldest attends nursery. Once the twins start nursery in August, the role will naturally shift into more of a nanny-housekeeper position during nursery hours, before helping again with the children after nursery and into the evening routine.

The family are hoping to find someone looking for a long-term role of at least 3 years. They would love someone warm, capable and organised, with a calm and reassuring nature. Someone who enjoys becoming part of family life and takes pride in keeping a home running smoothly would fit in very well here. Travelling with the family would also be a bonus.

Childcare Duties

* Shared care of three children aged 3 years and 13-month-old twins.
* Supporting morning routines including breakfast and getting ready for nursery
* Planning fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities
* Organising outings, playdates and outdoor play
* Supporting developmental milestones through play and routine
* Preparing meals and snacks for the children
* Helping with bath time and bedtime routines
* Nursery pick-ups and evening care from around 4:30pm
* Occasional babysitting and proxy parenting when needed

Household Duties (mainly from August onwards once the twins start nursery)

* Children’s laundry and ironing
* Keeping children’s areas tidy and organised
* General household organisation and maintenance
* Helping the home run smoothly day to day
* Grocery shopping and errands if needed
* Working alongside the cleaner who handles deep cleaning.

Skills and other requirements:

* Years of experience: Minimum 5 years
* Languages: Fluent English
