A warm and proactive Russian speaking Nanny is sought for a long term live in role supporting an international family relocating to the UK, with primary focus on infant care alongside support for older school-aged children

Job Summary:
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced and nurturing nanny to join an international family relocating to the UK. The family are seeking a long-term nanny who can become a trusted and valued part of their household, working closely alongside the mother in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

The role requires someone highly intuitive, flexible, and genuinely invested in family life — a nanny who can anticipate needs, confidently support children across different age groups, and integrate naturally into the rhythm of the household.

Their current nanny and housekeeper, who have been with the family for two years, are unfortunately unable to relocate with them, so the family are hoping to find someone looking to establish a similarly long-term relationship.

The primary focus of the role will be caring for the family’s youngest child, including all associated routines, developmental support, feeding, and sleep management. Alongside newborn care, the nanny will assist with the morning and evening routines of the older school aged children, helping ensure the household runs smoothly throughout the day.

Mum will be home, making this a collaborative childcare role requiring strong communication, flexibility, and emotional intelligence.

As the newborn grows and eventually attends nursery part-time, the role may naturally evolve to include additional household support such as errands and general assistance where needed.

Occasional travel will be required once or twice per year, primarily to France.

Job specification:
• Full care of a newborn baby
• Managing feeding, naps, sleep routines, and developmental milestones
• Morning and evening routines for older children
• Assisting with school and activity drop-offs/pickups when needed
• Preparing meals and supporting transitions throughout the day
• All nursery duties including laundry, tidying bedrooms, and organization
• Maintaining tidy and organised children’s areas
• Supporting the wider flow and organisation of the household
• Running occasional errands as the role develops over time
• Occasional travel with the family (1–2 times per year)

Candidate specification:
• Russian-speaking essential
• Proven experience with newborns and school aged children
• Confident managing multiple children simultaneously
• Warm, nurturing, kind, and energetic approach
• Proactive and intuitive with strong awareness of children’s needs
• Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic family environment
• Open to direction and receptive to feedback
