We are assisting a longstanding client in Dubai in the search for an experienced, warm, and energetic French-speaking rota nanny to care for their seven-year-old daughter.

This is a long-term position working on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rota, based primarily in Dubai during the school year, with summers spent in Italy from June to September.

The little girl is bright, curious, sporty, and very engaging. She has had the same nanny since birth, and the family are now looking for someone who can introduce gentle structure and routine while maintaining a warm, nurturing, and playful approach.

The ideal candidate will be a fluent French speaker, as the family would love their daughter to continue developing her language skills naturally through day-to-day conversation, play, and activities.

You will be confident setting kind but firm boundaries, supporting emotional development, and encouraging independence in an age-appropriate and positive way. A naturally dynamic and active approach is essential, alongside a genuine interest in engaging children through both structured activities and imaginative free play.

The young girl enjoys swimming, climbing, and golf, so a nanny who leads an active lifestyle and enjoys being outdoors would be particularly well suited to the role. Previous experience working with school-aged children is essential, and a background in childcare or education would be highly advantageous.

Duties will include overseeing the child’s day-to-day care and routines, supporting her academic and personal development, planning engaging activities, liaising with the family and wider household team, and travelling with the family throughout the year between Dubai and Europe.

Accommodation is provided in the form of a separate flat, and the family are offering a highly competitive package dependant on skills, experience and previous earnings.
