We are a couple living near Axminster looking for a full-time, live-out nanny for our little boy, who will be one in November 2026 (when the role will commence).

The hours will be 9am - 6pm Monday - Friday. We both work primarily from home and seldom have to work late, but a nanny who could do occasional babysitting on weekday evenings with advance notice would be a bonus.

We would like someone with childcare qualifications but our priority is to find someone with ample childcare experience (especially with babies and younger children), who will care for our child with a loving and gentle attitude. As we live in a small hamlet, a driver's licence will be vital both for commuting and to take our son out to baby groups and other activities during the day (a car would be made available for use during working hours for this purpose). We are keen on nature and the outdoors and would ideally like to find a nanny who shares that interest and would be happy to spend a lot of time outdoors with our son.

The role is limited to standard nursery duties (including preparing lunch for our son and laundry relating to our son) - not housekeeping duties.

Salary negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
