Nanny-Housekeeper
Warm and welcoming family based in Tunbridge Wells is seeking an experienced, reliable and highly trustworthy nanny housekeeper / family support person to join our household on a long-term basis. One early teen, one tween and one friendly mid-sized dog who will love the occasional walk!

This is an important role within a busy family home, and we are looking for someone who is calm, kind, discreet and dependable, with a warm but professional approach. The right candidate will be highly organised, proactive and able to provide both practical household support and help with the family’s daily routines.

A key part of the role is supporting the home at the beginning of the day (6.15am), so applicants should either be live-in or be able to start early in Tunbridge Wells in order to assist with the family’s morning routine and getting children out to school. There may also be requirements to be available at the end of the day but flexibility will be provided around hours to accommodate this.

Effectively this is a wrap-around child support role with house keeping and cooking (ideally). It will therefore include a combination of housekeeping, laundry and ironing, household organisation, food planning, meal preparation, and child-related support where needed. We are looking for someone who can help create calm, consistency and order in the home, and who takes pride in maintaining high standards.

Duties will include:

Helping support smooth morning routines and school preparation
Cleaning, tidying and maintaining the home to a high standard
Laundry, ironing and general household organisation
Child-related support where needed
Food planning and meal preparation
Keeping the home running smoothly on a day-to-day basis
Supporting a calm, well-organised family environment
Dog Walking

We are looking for someone who:

Has previous experience as a nanny housekeeper, housekeeper, or in a similar family support role
Has excellent checkable references
Is warm, calm, discreet and highly dependable
Is organised, proactive and able to use initiative
Is comfortable working in a family home and building a trusted long-term working relationship
Holds an enhanced DBS or is willing to obtain one
Is either looking for a live-in role or is reliably able to start early each morning in Tunbridge Wells

This is a long-term position for the right person, offering a competitive salary and a respectful, appreciative family environment.

To apply, please send your CV together with details of your experience, availability and current salary.
