Nanny
Our family is seeking a full-time, live-out nanny to provide consistent, structured support within a busy family home. Children are currently 6 mo, 3 and nearly 5. This is a long-term position suited to a professional who takes pride in creating a safe, well-organised, calm, and nurturing environment, and who can play a key role in supporting the children’s daily routines and overall development. Strong English is required. Parents are heavily involved in the childrens' upbringing but seek a nanny who can give proactive advice and take proactive action.

The working hours are 7.15am-6.30pm, Monday-Friday, with the usual 28 days of leave (20 days holiday + bank holidays) but the family end of taking more days off than that so you do get more than that off. Travel with the family not required. We don't require a driver (we don't have a car) but we do have a driveway if a car is really the preferred mode of transport. The children are in local school / nursery and we walk a lot - plus house is on 4 levels so there will be walking and stairs involved, please do consider this (this is the reason our current nanny will be leaving us). We are looking for the right fit with the right nanny to be with us for the long term so whilst we will need help from June onward, we are willing to do temporary stints until we find the right fit. Generally sole charge but the parents may work from home occasionally and sometimes like to carve out special time M-F with the kids.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple responsibilities independently. They will have a strong understanding of child development, be comfortable supporting educational progress, and bring a balanced approach, warm and engaging with the children, while maintaining clear boundaries and structure. They need to "run a tight ship" across the children, the schedule, the belongings and the household.

General Duties:
Manage daily routines and provide safe, structured, consistent care
Support children’s emotional, physical, and cognitive development
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities

Children’s laundry (3x per week) and upkeep of bedrooms/play areas
Prepare healthy meals and manage children’s nutrition (no junk food) including weaning the baby
Handle light housekeeping related to the children (tidying, spills, organisation)

Candidate Requirements:
Professional, and committed to childcare as a long-term profession
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
Strong understanding of child development (emotional, cognitive, physical)
Confident managing multiple young children
Able to establish routines, structure, and clear boundaries
Warm, nurturing, but firm and consistent
