We are a welcoming, active Irish/German/Swiss family in Le Mont-sur-Lausanne seeking a live-in nanny/housekeeper/au-pair to become an important part of our home.
We are looking for someone with an “older sister” energy with a warm, mature, kind, discreet, organised, and positive outlook, who enjoys being active with children while helping keep their daily lives running smoothly. We hope to find someone that genuinely enjoys spending time with children and has a happy, kind and creative way of approaching daily life. The role is at 60%, so ideal for someone looking to spend time exploring Switzerland or doing a degree on the side.

The Children:
You will be supporting our two boys.
A 3-year-old who attends school part-time
A 7-year-old who is in school most days, but will need care and fun after school, and during holidays

Both children are energetic and enjoy movement, games, and outdoor activities, so we are looking for someone with good energy and enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities:
Daily care and engagement with both children
School drop-offs and pick-ups
Spending quality time playing games, being active, and engaging the children together
Preparing snacks and simple meals for the family
Laundry and keeping spaces tidy and organised
Supporting the organisation of the children’s belongings, including:
- Going through clothes and removing items that are too small
- Ensuring school bags, clothing, and supplies are complete and ready
- Keeping track of missing or needed items and flagging anything that may need to be purchased
- Helping maintain structured routines and a happy and organised environment

Working Hours and Availability:
30 hours per week during the school term
Fridays off
Availability for additional hours during school holidays, agreed in advance
