A lovely family living just outside Oslo, Norway is seeking a live-in au pair or junior nanny to become part of their home. The role focuses on helping care for three children aged 12 months, 6, and 9. Daily responsibilities include supporting morning routines, preparing simple meals, and occasionally looking after the youngest child. You’ll also assist with general household tasks such as tidying and laundry.
The position runs Monday to Friday for around 5–6 hours per day, with some occasional babysitting. Previous childcare experience is essential, and an understanding of dietary requirements is important, as the 6-year-old has coeliac disease.
The family will provide your own private apartment near the family’s home, complete with a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. Meals are included, and you’ll also have the opportunity to join the family on trips if desired. This role would suit someone organised, proactive, and enthusiastic about being part of a warm and friendly family environment. Applicants must hold the right to work in Norway or the EU.
