Live In Nanny - Chelsea, London + International Travel - ASAP (By Late September 2026)

This lovely family are looking for a looking for an energetic, fun and flexible nanny with a warm personality to help care for their two boys ages 18 months and 3 years old and a new baby due in October 2026.

- Salary: £65,000-£75,000 gross per annum (depending on experience)

Overview:

The nanny needs to have a relaxed yet professional and responsible approach – they will ideally have had longevity with previous families and must have experience working with babies and children of similar ages.

The family’s previous nanny was with them for 2 years and left to go on maternity leave, the current nanny has been with the family since October 2025 and the family are looking for a second nanny to support them as their family grows. The baby will have a maternity nurse for the first 6-7 months.

The children are happy and in good routines. This is a shared care role with the mother and current nanny. Both parents are very involved in the lives of their children – the father works from home in London and in Barbados.

The role is 5 days per week, 12 hours per day either starting at 7am/7.30am with some flexibility for evening cover (paid as overtime) and in the event that the family need to travel or need sole charge proxy parent care for the children. There is flexibility with the 2 days off per week and will be worked with the other nanny so that the family have nanny cover for all 7 days in a week.

The nanny would have their own private bedroom and bathroom in London and Barbados; in Ireland the nannies share a separate nanny flat with their own bedrooms and bathrooms. The nanny is able to stay in their room/apartment on their off days or even vacation if they wish.

The family are based between London and Ireland, then travel extensively, in particular spending from approximately November until March/April in Barbados (where the family have a property directly on the beach). The nanny would be required to travel with the family and so must be happy to travel and be away from home for extended periods as well as being a confident flyer.

In London the family have a housekeeper twice a week, in Ireland the family have a full time housekeeper and in Barbados the family have a full time housekeeping staff and a chef (who also prepares meals for the children and nanny). All nursery duties are required to be completed by the nanny including laundry, keeping children’s areas (bedrooms, playrooms etc) tidy as well as preparing fresh nutritious meals for the children.

The nanny must be a fluent English speaker, confident swimmer and a driver is essential.

The family have a Labrador at their home in Ireland.
